Q. Can members of the public access OHSU eBooks?

Members of the public can access most OHSU Library eBooks when visiting the library, or from a computer on campus connected to the OHSU guest Wifi network. To do so, users should click on the Online Access Options link in the item's record in the catalog and then click on the vendor listed to access the eBook (see example below).

We do have a small number of eBooks, however, that are restricted by the publisher for use by OHSU-affiliated users only. This is indicated by a notation in the Public notes field below the Online Access Options link (see examples below).

Note: The general public will need to use an OHSU computer or connect their own device to the OHSU Guest Wi-Fi network to access eBooks.
