Q. I am trying to install EndNote and am being asked for a "product key." Why?

Installation instructions

1. Click on this link (if prompted use your OHSU network credentials.)
2. Click Download 
3. Once finished downloading, unzip the the .zip into a directory.
   • To unzip the file Windows 7/8/10: right click the file, select Extract All then click Extract to unzip the file into your downloads directory.
   • EndNote will NOT install properly if you fail to unzip the downloaded file. If you get a box asking for a product key go back and make sure you unzipped the file.
4. Double click ENX7Inst.msi and follow the prompts. Note: you may be asked to close out of any open Microsoft Office apps.
