Q. I'm a non-OHSU user. Can I get help for a literature search?

OHSU Librarians will provide approximately an hour of free searching consultation for unaffiliated users.  For this hour we usually focus on helping you build a general search strategy that you can apply to different databases that we suggest.  If you have needs beyond the initial one-hour consultation, we would invoke/offer our fee-based service.  In most cases, we have the opportunity to discuss this in advance and also point you to additional no-cost services that you can engage in (e.g. public libraries, other academic libraries, hospital libraries, etc.).
