Q. I work for an OHSU affiliated hospital, why does my network id not work for OHSU Library resources?

Publishers’ licensing restrictions allow us to provide journal and database access only to current OHSU students, faculty, and staff. These restrictions prevent us from granting access to employees of Tuality Healthcare/OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) or Adventist, even if they have an OHSU network ID.

Publishers’ licensing restrictions also limit online journal and database access to current OHSU students, faculty, and staff. The OHSU Library does not manage access to library resources for OHSU-affiliated hospitals and clinics, such as Hillsboro Medical Center, Adventist, or Mid-Columbia Medical Center. This includes the resource UpToDate. If you work in one of those hospitals, contact your department administrator to learn what resources are available to you.

If you are an Oregon Licensed Health Professional, you can access Access Medicine but no other OHSU Library resources unless you visit the OHSU Library and use our network. If you are an MD or DO, we can facilitate access to a service called Reprints Desk, which allows you to request articles from PubMed. You can find more information here:
