Q. How to manually reset your password used with your Library User ID (Barcode/Email Address)

Certain Library accounts (Affiliate faculty, Oregon licensed healthcare professional, and community borrowers) are given assigned User IDs (barcode or email address) to be used with a password to sign-in to view OHSU Library resources. Follow these steps to create/reset your password:

• Visit the OHSU Library website (https://www.ohsu.edu/library) 

• On the homepage, click on My Library Account located on the blue banner at the top of the page 

• Then click on the second sign-in option entitled Affiliate faculty, Oregon healthcare professional, or community member 

• On the login screen select the blue “Need help signing in?” button

• Finally, select the Reset password link directly underneath which will redirect you to the page to reset your password

Please note: certain email servers (such as Comcast and occasionally government servers) will block the automated email prompts from our system. If you do not receive the password prompt in either your inbox or spam folder, please contact liboff@ohsu.edu for assistance. You may be asked to provide a different email address for your library account at that time.
