Q. Does OHSU Library take donations?

Thanks for your interest in donating to OHSU Library. Due to limited space, we only accept materials that fill gaps in our existing collection or otherwise align with our collection development policy.  

As a rule, we do not accept the following items: 

• Textbooks 

• Items more than 5 years old 

• Items we already own in print or e-book format 

• Print journals/periodicals 

• Materials in poor condition 

• Items widely held by our library consortial partners 

For items that do fit within the scope our collection development policy, please send an itemized list to library@ohsu.libanswers.com for a library staff member to review.
