Q. How can I access Altmetrics for individual publications?

I am trying to find out how a publication was disseminated, for example, has it been cited on social media or presented at a conference. Does the Library have any tools like Altmetrics to help find such information?

The Library does not have Altmetrics access, but researchers can use the Altmetrics Bookmarklet to access them for individual publications. Their Introduction to the Bookmarklet page explains how to install and use it, and the Bookmarklet FAQs answers questions users may have.

Alternatively, Elsevier provides access to their PlumX Metrics via the Scopus database.
