Q. How to sign in to OHSU Resources as Affiliate Faculty

OHSU Library has a new authentication system! Here's how Affiliate Faculty can log in and access electronic resources in OHSU Library's collection.

Note: If you have an OHSU network ID (ending in @ohsu.edu), please use that network ID and password to authenticate.

First, when visiting the library website, do not click on My Library Account to sign in. Instead, following the steps below to access databases and articles: 

Accessing Databases:

1. Find the database you're interested in using, listed on either the library website homepage or the Database list, and click on it.

2. On the login page, click on the Affiliate Faculty option.

3. On the resulting page, enter your email address and password.
4. And now you'll be able to use this database to search, read, and download materials!

Searching and Accessing Materials Using the Library Catalog:

1. Use the Library Search function to search for items and materials. Click on the article or book you'd like to access. 
2. Click on the publisher link for the article/eBook/database you're trying to access. Do not click on the yellow Sign In button.

3. On the login page, click on the Affiliate Faculty option.
4. On the resulting page, enter your email address and password.
5. And you're in! You can now view or download material.
