Q. Does the library have a scanner?

The Library no longer provides flatbed scanners.  However, there are multiple options available for mobile scanning that you can use to scan documents directly to your mobile phone. 

Apple Device (iPhone / iPad)

• Notes app: Apple provides a handy guide to using the Notes application that comes built in to all iPhone and iPad devices.
• Genius Scan -- PDF Scanner for IPhone or IPad

Android Device

• Google Drive app: Google offers a simple way to scan via the Google Drive app on your Android, allowing you to save, download, email and share.

• Adobe Scan

• Microsoft Lens (Android)

• Microsoft Lens (Apple)

FedEx provides scanning services and you can find the nearest location here. (The closest one to OHSU is in downtown Portland near the Portland State University campus.) 

If you need a book chapter scanned, the Library can do this for you!  Make a request through the Library's no-cost Get It For Me service.
