Q. Easier access to scientific journals

I rely on easy access to journals like NEJM, JAMA, BMJ, JCI to stay up to date with current trends. However I find it difficult to access these journals through the library website, and I wish there was a list of popular/common journals that I could click through, rather than have to search individually through the 'database' tab or directly navigating to their respective websites and hoping we have access.  Please let me know if this would be possible, and what I can do to help make it happen?

Hello,

We are currently working on changing the layout to better reflect the most needed resources and services. There are also a few options currently available to you to make your life a little easier:

1) In our catalog you can pin the entries for the journals that fit your interests so that they appear under "favorites":

2)Use a 3rd party app like QxMD or UCentral. These apps can be connected to the OHSU Library subscriptions, and you can favorite journals or get alerts regarding new entries tailored to your specific interests.

3) Install our Bookmarklet in your bookmarks barhttps://libguides.ohsu.edu/c.php?g=1030165&p=7466295

This tool allows you to start at the publisher website and with one click authenticate your OHSU credentials to gain access
Best,

Paul
